Schottland II
highland fairy tale, Glencoe Scotland and Isle of Skye
The photoseries “highland fairy tale” arose last summer during a 14 days long hiking adventure with my girlfriend through the highlands of Scotland. We walked from Tynuilt, a small village near Oban to Fort William and another route on the Isle Of Skye, all in all about 200 Kilometers. The highlands of the Glencoe area especially impressed me with their utterly breathtaking and forlorn wilderness and some rare, but beautifully coloured flora that adds something really special to it. The rare vegetation allows a wide overview of the different locations and that, together with the fast changing, dramatic weather and lightning situations, helped a lot to create some real depth in the pictures.
